How Much Does a Vermont Lottery Bond Cost?

Lottery Bond Requirements in Vermont
Rule No. 10 of the Division of Lottery’s regulations establish bonding requirements for lottery sales agents. The purpose of the bond is for the State of Vermont to avoid monetary loss related to the sales agent’s ticket sales activities. The state could require a blanket bond in lieu of a surety bond.
The bond amount is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Division of Lottery. If you are instructed to purchase a bond, the Division of Lottery will provide you with instructions related to the bond amount, term and obligee.
