Zillow detects a small drop in 30-year fixed mortgage interest rates
Zillow detects a minor interest rate drop in the fixed 30-year mortgages. The figures show that mortgage payers had to pay an interest rate of 4.03% this week, rather than the 4.06% from last week.
The study is based solely on Zillow’s clients and not on the entire market. Freddie Mac., however, is! Their study also indicated an interest rate drop from 4. 17% to 4.14% this week. It also shows a further decrease, compared to last year’s interest rate on 30-year fixed mortgages. A year ago clients had to pay an interest rate of 4.46%.
