USA Truck Marks Its First Profit in 3 Years
USA Truck has made a profit for the first time since 2011 with net income of $700,000, according to the second quarter numbers.
The Trucking and logistics provider net come entails that each diluted share costs 7 cents. The same time last year, the company market a net loss of $1.4 million.
USA Truck’s total base revenue went up by 12.1% for the Arkansas-based operation. Operating expenses net of fuel surcharge collections increased by only 7.4%. This marks a 410 basis points improvement in operating.
Trucking revenue, excluding fuel surcharge, increased 2.2% to $83.2 million.
