No More Opel Ampera for Europe?
According to the Automotive News Europe, the Opel Ampera will most probably be pulled from the European market. The reason for that are the continuously depreciating sales of the model.
The pick of the Opel Ampera was back in 2012 when it was crowned European car of the year. Ever since then, sales numbers has been going down. They dropped with 40% in 2013 and with another 67% in 2014, despite the price reductions. Up until May, there have been only 332 vehicles sold in Europe.
Open management does not either deny or confirm, at this point, whether or not the Opel Ampera will continue being sold on the Old Continent.
