Maintenance Bonds

Maintenance bonds provide for the upkeep of a project for a specified period of time after the project is completed. These bonds guarantee against defective workmanship or materials. They are also referred to as "Warranty Bonds".

When do you need a Maintenance Bond? While not typically required, maintenance bonds (or warranty bonds) can sometimes be required at the discretion of the owner of a construction project (the obligee).
